3 months old today!!!

I can't believe Brady is already 3 months old!!! He is such a blessing!! Some of you know but many of you don't know that it took us 1 1/2 years to become pregnant.  I have PCOS and have fertility issues.  Last year about this time we didn't know how or when we would become parents.  I had been on clomid for 5 months and this was the highest dosage that they were going to allow me to take and then we were going to have to be referred to a fertility specialist!! My heart broke a little every time I would go to the Dr. and she would say well, you didn't ovulate this time!! Needless to say we ended up going on a very relaxing vacation to the Dominican Republic and low and behold if we didn't come back and find out that I ovulated!!! We had to wait a couple of weeks to take a pregnancy test and it just so happened we were going to be in MS when I was suppose to take one!! So we took it in MS and it was positive!! We were so excited that we could tell the whole family face to face!!! It was such a hard time in my life not knowing if I was going to be able to conceive, but I put my faith in the Lord!! God is great and I know that there are many women out there are that are having problems conceiving and I would love it if you would say a little prayer for them!! Tiffany is one of these women having trouble conceiving and she will be going to a fertility specialist in July. So please keep her in your prayers!!  I thank the Lord everyday for my sweet little boy!!

Tummy Time!!

He is 26 inches long!!!!

He pulls his hair a lot and I tell him no and pull his hand away when I see him do it. I know he doesn't know what no is but he will eventually. I will look at his hands when I pull them away and there will be hairs in them!! I know it has to hurt but he never cries!

I absolutely love Christmas time!! I usually decorate in early November and take it down mid-January.  I know that is a really long time to have Christmas decorations out but I just love them!!

This is a painting of my miniature schnauzer McKenzie that passed away this past October. I have had it for 3 years and still haven't gotten it framed!! I really need to do it soon!!!

This picture on top of the entertainment center is my favorite!!! Growing up both of my grandparents had this in their living rooms!! So it is very special to me!! My parents gave it to me when we bought the house!!

This scrapbook is on the coffee table.  It is of our wedding and honeymoon.  It was a gift from my brother's family. My sister-in-law Kasey and myself worked a lot on this!!  

This is the first page in the scrapbook!! I love this picture!! We got married on the beach in Seaside, FL.  It is the cutest town ever!!

Last but not least I had to put a picture of where I do all of my blogging.  I usually have a sleeping baby on one arm and typing with my other.  Also the MacBook was a early Mother's Day present!!! I love it!!

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to J.T. and Crystal Hurst on their baby boy Keegan Brice!! He was born this morning and weighed 9lbs. 12 oz. and 21 inches long!! He is absolutely adorable and we can't wait to see them in May!!

We love to go strolling!!!

Here are a couple of pics of Brady today out and about strolling in the neighborhood!!! We have a great neighborhood for strolling!! We have had some beautiful weather here and the rest of the week is suppose to be nice too!! We can't wait to go strolling every day this week!! I think we are going to have to start going mid-morning instead of the afternoon because it is getting rather warm around here!!

2 month check-up

Brady had his 2 month check-up this morning!! He weighs 12 lbs. 1 oz. (59th percentile) and is 24.5 inches long (93rd percentile). The doctor said that he is the average length of a 4 month old. He also got 3 shots, but he did great!! He only cried for a few seconds and then was back to smiling and cooing. Here are a few pics I took of him when we got home from his appointment!

Easter Weekend

We had a great time this weekend visiting family and friends!! We didn't get to see everybody we wanted to see, but maybe in May when we come for Memorial day weekend we will get to squeeze everybody in!! Here are some pics from this weekend!!

A few of us girls got together and ate at Anthony's!! Yum!!! We had such a great time catching up and remembering the old days!! Crystal Hurst is due to have a boy in 2 weeks!! His name will be Keegan Brice!! We wish her all the best in her upcoming delivery!! We will be praying for you Crystal!!!

Brady is....

Sleeping through the night at 7 weeks old!!!!!! Yes, you heard me right!! I put him to bed about 9 and he wakes up about 6!! We are so excited!! Even though I still wake up a few times to check on him and make sure he is still breathing!! Yes, I am paranoid!! Well Just wanted to post the great news!! Hope everybody has a great weekend!!
