5 1/2 months old

Brady is getting so big!! I can't believe he is 5 1/2 months old!!! Were has the time gone!!!! He is such a joy and I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with him!! I can't imagine not being at home with him!!! I would miss so much!!!

Brady is:

• Eating rice cereal like a champ
• sleeping 8 full hours a night but sleeps a total of 11 hours a night (goes to sleep at 7:30 wakes up for a bottle at 3:30 and then wakes up for the morning at 6:30. I have read that they still need there middle of the night feeding until 6 months. So we might need to ween him of that feeding soon.)
• Sitting up
• Standing with support
• In size 6 month clothes
• Eats 6 oz. every 4 hours
• Takes 2-3 naps a day
• Rolling over both ways
• Loves to reach for anything and everything (He has pulled my glasses off many times!!)
• Loves it when I change his diaper or his clothes
• Loves to be outside
• Loves music and books
• Loves his Paci
• Anything he grabs goes straight to his mouth
• Holding his bottle

HERE!!!!! This was taken last May when we vacationed in the Dominican Republic!!

Well, we aren't getting to go there this year but maybe in a few years when Brady is a little older, but we are going to Destin, Fl in 2 weeks!!! YAY!! It seems like it has taken it forever to get to this point!!! We usually go on vacation in May or June but this year we decided on August!! My parents are meeting us down there for a week long vacation of nothing but sand, shopping and seafood!! I can't wait!!! I think these next 2 weeks will go by pretty quick because my birthday is this next week and then the next week is our 4 year anniversary and then we are off to the beach!!! I will definitely come back with lots of pics!!

They thought they could push it and get it to start. No luck.

After pushing and getting tired, they left it.

Brady's New Adorable Outfit

Etsy has some adorable boys jon jons!! I found one with a crab on it and just had to have it!!! It is my favorite outfit of Brady's!! Holly at Etsy-GoodReturn is so sweet and I just loved doing business with her and plan on shopping with her again!!! She did an excellent job on his crab jon jon!! She is gearing up for fall and should have some new things posted within the next month or so, but if you would like to get this cute outfit just click here and she will fix you up!! A Good Laugh

Ok, so I love visiting the my charming kids blogfrog community! They have some great discussions on the message boards!! I now have 2 more blogs that I am going to check out regularly now and they are HILARIOUS!!!! The first one is cake wrecks and the other one is awkward family photos. Dreaming of a Beach!!

Man do I wish I was at the beach!!  This afternoon I have been reminiscing of the last time I went to Destin, FL!! It was me, 2 friends and Mrs. Jane. We had such a great time!! I can't believe it has been 3 years since that trip!!! It was in the spring of 2006 and we decided on like a tuesday that we wanted to leave that friday afternoon and head to Destin!!! We wanted a break from school!! We were only there for like a full day but it was totally worth it!! Even though the only day on the beach was overcast we had a blast just talking ,catching up and being goofy!! I love girl trips!!! This will be the first time in 3 years we have stayed in the U.S. to go on vacation, but we think Brady is to young to take out of the country right now.
