last week in Mississippi

Last week we went to Mississippi!! We were very busy while we were there!! We attended a cousin's wedding, I had a baby shower, we had Christmas with my family and visited friends and family. I didn't take any pictures but you can go to Kasey's blog to see some!!

Great weekend!!

Last week my mom came on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. We got a lot done around the house and had time for shopping too!!! I met her in Shreveport on Wednesday and we shopped. Thursday we went to Tyler and went to Mistletoe and Magic and some Children's boutique stores. Then that afternoon I had a sonogram appointment. So we went to that and then came home and starting staining the 2 pieces of furniture that I got for Brady's room. They turned out great I will post pics of those soon!! Friday we put up Christmas decorations and waited on Wilse's mom to get here. They were both here because the people that I worked with threw me a baby shower. We had such a great time at the shower!!! We played a lot of games and laughed a lot!! Everything was perfect!!! Here is one of the sonogram pics.

October wrap-up

October has come and gone very quickly!! This was my last month to work full-time and I only work a few days in November!! I will just be staying at home waiting the arrival of Brady. Also this month we lost a much loved family member. My baby girl McKenzie. In 2001 Wilse got her for my birthday she was the best dog ever!! She started getting sick so I took her to the Vet and they told me her kidney's were failing. She stayed a couple of nights in the vet hospital to flush her kidney's with fluids to see if that would help, but her kidney enzymes just kept going up. I decided to take a couple of days off of work for a long weekend and just take her home and see how she did. Well, she just wasn't herself I was having to force feed her and we could tell it was time. So after spending a long weekend with her, we had to make the toughest decision I have had to make and that was to put her to sleep. I still cry at night thinking about her because she really was my baby. It is especially hard now that I am at home and I do not have her company!! Here is a picture of my beautiful baby girl!!

BOY!!!! We are really excited!!! Everything looked great!!! We tried to get him to turn over but he wouldn't so we didn't get a really good pic of his face but we did get a profile pic. I loved the 3D sonogram!!! I will post pics soon!! Oh and his name is Brady Chapman Dimino!!!!!!!!

No Power!!!!

So yes we still do not have any power!!!! They estimate that we will get it back on friday!!! So as for now we are living in the dark and have no TV!!! I don't see how people live without TV!!!! I was so glad to come to work this morning and have power and access to the internet!!!! At least we still can take a hot shower thanks to our gas hot water heater!!! If it wasn't for that we would be staying at some friends houses or getting a hotel room and that is if we could find one!!! Last night it was in the 50's so we slept with the windows open and that helped a lot!!! I had to go to a co-worker's house this morning and blowdry and straighten my hair!! Thank you Wanda!! Oh and 10 more days until we find out what we are having!!! We are sooooo EXCITED!!!! Hope everybody has a great week!!!

September 25

So this is the date we will find out what the baby is going to be. We are really excited!!! I would love for it to be a girl, but it really doesn't matter just as long as it is healthy!! This pregnancy has gone by so quick, I know these next 3 weeks will fly by!!! I will post pics and announce what it is on the 25th!!!! YAY!!!

Labor Day Weekend

We went to Mississippi this past weekend to visit the Family and to go to Prairie Arts. We had a really good time. We got there Thursday night and on Friday we went and picked out fabric for the baby bedding. One for if it's a girl and one for if it is a boy. Saturday I went to Prairie Arts and had a chicken on the stick!!!! YUM!!! oh can't forget the funnel cake!! HA HA!! Sunday we hung out at the house and played with Conner, Cael and Collins and Monday we had a BBQ at Wilse's parents camphouse. Then we headed home that afternoon. We made a detour on our trip though because we new I-20 would be crazy from all the evacuees. So we took 82 all the way to Texarkana and then to home. Yeah it was like 2-3 hours longer than our usual trip!! It sucked but at least we made it home safe!!! Hope everybody had a good holiday weekend!!

11 weeks sonogram and Canton Trade Days

This past monday I had my 11 weeks sonogram!! It has grown so much!!! It is amazing how it grows that fast. I will post the pics later!!! Oh and we are really excited that next weekend my parents are coming to visit!!! Also it is Canton Trade Days so we might go to that, but it might be to hot!!! I love to go there. If any of you ever come to texas make sure you come the weekend before the first Monday of the month and you are near Canton!!!! It is the largest flea market in the U.S. and it is something to see!! I have been there about 12 times and still I haven't seen it all!!!! It is like a ton of cute boutique stores plus junky stuff too, but it is so much fun!! Hope everybody has a great weekend!!!

Yes, we are pregnant!!!! We are really excited and can't wait to be parents!!! I am in my 8th week and I had a sonogram last week and everything looked good. I will post the sonogram picture soon!!!! We are due February 11th which is Wilse's mom's birthday (Yes she is sooooooo excited)!!!! I haven't had any morning sickness yet so that is really good. I just have been really tired and felt yucky this past weekend!! But other than that I am great!!! I will keep you updated on what is going on!!! Have a Happy 4th everyone!!!!

Jamiaca me crazy!!

Well I just got back from a work trip to Jamaica!! It was great!!! I love Jamaica!! There were some crazy travel agents on that trip!!! I would tell you some of the crazy stories but when you go to Jamaica you will learn that what happens in Jamaica never happened!!! But I will defiately be going back to Jamaica for a vacation!!! We did go river tubing on the great river which was a riot!!!! I will post pics soon!!!!

Our Dominican Republic Vacation

So we got back this past weekend from a week vacation in the Dominican Republic!!! One word for it FABULOUS!!! It was so relaxing. We had a great time. Most of the time we layed out on the beach and on the beach beds, we hung out by the pool some too!! It is one of the prettiest countries I have been too!!! Our resort was excellent!! We did one excursion to Saona Island (a small island off the coast of DR) It was absolutely beautiful!! The people there are so nice too!!!! I loved it and hope to return soon!!

Eye Doctor and Forever Friends Banquet!!

Well, we went to the eye doctor on Tuesday!! My vision is worse, but I knew that because I could tell that I couldn't see as good. So I got some new glasses and they are really cute (they are Gucci!!) I also got those one day disposable contacts too. I don't wear them much so i figured I would just get those since I only wear contacts like maybe 2-3 times a month. Tuesday I also had the forever friends banquet. And for those of you who don't know what that is, it is a mentoring program in the city of Longview. So I am a mentor to a girl that is in the 9th grade in the Pine Tree school district. The mentoring program is for children that have close relatives in jail, have been in an abusive family, or that live in poverty. So we have a group that meets every wednesday for about 45 minutes. Their are 9 mentors and mentees. We have a really good time and talk about a lot of life issues. They are all great girls. We do 1-2 community service projects a year. We also do things outside of group meetings too. This past Tuesday was our end of the year banquet. So I took my mentee to the banquet and it was great. We had a really good time and the theme was too cute!! It was "The Heart of a Princess" and they all got tiaras. This is the end of my seceond year participating in this program.

Travel meds

Today we went and got our travel meds for our vacation next week!! The CDC recommended that we get Hepatitus A and B, Typhoid, and Malaria pills. Also we both needed an updated tetnus shot so we got that too!!! So now my arms are hurting from the shots!!!!

Crawfish Palace!!!

Friday night we went and saw "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"!! It was hilarious!! Saturday night we went to Shreveport with Ben and Deena. We went to Crawfish Palace for supper!! This was our first time so I was like this is it??? It was like we were in a movie or something! It was a little wooden shack screened in. So of course no air conditioner and the bathrooms were outside in the middle of the dirt parking lot!!! So the guys got crawfish and the girls got shrimp. I do have to say that those were the best boiled shrimp that I have ever had!!! Next time we visit the crawfish palace I will definitely not be dressing up!! Ben didn't let any of us know that this was a old jean and favorite t-shirt place!!! Then we went to the boardwalk and walked around. Sunday we went to trade days. There was a tornado that touched down in Canton last Friday and we saw on TV that there were some things damaged at trade days but on Sunday we didn't see any damage. That is our weekend wrap-up!!!

17 days until vacation!!!!!

Yes, That is right!!! We are leaving to go on vacation in 17 days!!!! I can't wait!!! We are going to the Dominican Republic!! We are staying 8 days at the Excellence Punta Cana which is a 5 star adults only hotel!!!! We love adults only hotels!! They are so peaceful and relaxing!! Jamie's Wedding

This weekend I went to Mississippi for a friend's wedding. Saturday I played with my nephews and then that night brandy was my date to the wedding. The wedding was beautiful. It was at her grandparents house (outside). I got to see some people I haven't seen in years. Saturday at lunch my dad grilled out burgers and hotdogs and my grandmother got to come over and eat with us. That was really nice to eat with all of them. Collins has some of those squeaky shoes that everytime he walks they squeak!! They are too cute!! Those boys are so entertaining. Also I got to see Carson which is Kayla's little boy he it so cute with that curly hair!!! I forgot to take my camera to the wedding so I didn't get any pictures. But hopefully I will take my camera to the next wedding so I can get some pics.

Great weekend

We had a really good visit with Wilse's parents!! We ended up going to Shreveport and shopping at the boardwalk. We went to the movies and saw 21! It was really good!! Then we went to the boats!!! For those of you who don't know what the boats are they are casinos on the river in Shreveport!! We didn't lose any money so that is always a good thing. I think we ended up about $30 to the good!! Then for supper we went to Ralph and Kakoo's!! Now we are just getting ready for another work week!! YAY!!! LOL!!!

The Weekend is here!!!!

As most of you know I am a travel agent!!! Yes, it is the greatest job ever!!!! Well we have been really busy lately because everybody is wanting to go on their summer vacation!!!!! Well During this season I am really glad when the weekend comes so I can relax!!! Well this weekend Wilse's parents are coming to visit so their will not be much relaxing going on!!!! We are so glad they are coming though since they didn't get to make the trip they had planned back in January. They didn't get to make the trip because Wilse and I had the flu and they didn't want to get it!!!! I will post what we ended up doing this weekend next week!!! Also Last weekend I had a weekend of pampering I went and got highlights and a cut . Also got a manicure, pedicure, hydro massage, facial, got in the tanning bed and did mystic tan too!!! It was nice to have time to do all of that!!! I am trying to get some color on my skin because I have a couple of weddings coming up that I am going to and vacation is coming up within the next month!!! I will post later and tell all about where we will be vacationing!!! Have a great weekend everybody!!!
