Yes, I do admit this!! I love to blog and to read blogs!! Some are just your general about life blogs, others are funny and well some just touch my heart. Sometimes me and Kasey (my SIL) will call each other asking if we have read so and so's post or when we find a new blog that is interesting will let each other know!! Sometimes we call each other crying or laughing!! Our husbands think we are crazy!! Well, we just might be!! I found this quiz today and of course I had to take it, so here are the results!!

Kelly's Korner is hosting Show Us Where You Live Friday and today is Nurseries/children's rooms!! 

I love Brady's nursery!! I picked out the fabric for the bedding and had it made. I love the stripes, geometric squares and the colors. This is where we hang out and play almost all day everyday!!! 

I am not an artistic person whatsoever so when I came up with the idea to paint these canvases I wasn't sure how they would come out!! I think they turned out pretty cute though!!

We also stained the changing table!! I didn't make the tile board!! I got that at Canton!!

The most comfortable rocker/recliner ever!!! I went to Lazy-boy and sat in every rocker they had and this is what we ended up with!!

WILD HAIR

Brady has got some WILD HAIR!! He has 2 crowns so on both sides it grows towards the middle, so I think there will be many mohawks in the future!! In the back he has rubbed off some of his hair and kinda looks like he is starting a mullet and on the sides he doesn't have much but what little he does have is very very blonde!! Here are some pics of during and after his bath this afternoon!!

Memorial Day Weekend in Mississippi

We had a very busy Memorial Day weekend in Mississippi!! We ended up waiting until Thursday morning to leave because Wilse and I were to tired Wednesday night to drive!! We got to West Point early afternoon and started getting ready for Connor's (our oldest nephew) kindergarten graduation. They had a program that included all of the other classes, so Cael was also in the program!  Cael was putting on a show!! He was making these weird faces and just couldn't stand still!! I wouldn't expect anything less from Cael though!! He is a character!! The program was way cute and we really enjoyed it!! Friday me and Brady went to Columbus and met my best friend for lunch and then we did a little shopping!! Friday night me, my mom and Brady went to Oak Hill's Graduation to see my best friend's brother graduate!! This is also where I graduated! I am so proud of Will!! He was the Valedictorian, Star Student and Hall of Fame!! He made a 33 on his ACT and received a full scholarship to MSU!! Saturday we went to Macon to visit Wilse's grandmother and his mom's side of the family and then that night we went to church and attempted to go out to eat with Wilse's family but Brady was not a happy camper so we ended up leaving and they brought us back something!! Sunday my brother and his family were staying the weekend with my parents also so we had a great time seeing all of our nephews!! Sunday night my parents had a shrimp boil and invited family and friends over! We had a blast!! Monday Wilse's parents had a BBQ at their camp house with family and friends!! Again we had a blast!! We ended up heading home Monday night!! So we got home pretty late last night!! We had a wonderful weekend with all of our family and friends!! Can't wait until next time!! I wish I would have taken more pics but here are a few I did take!!

Getting ready for Mississippi

Tomorrow night we are heading to Mississippi!! So we are packing and getting everything ready to leave!! We decided it would be easier to drive at night because Brady is not a big fan of his car seat these days!! He hates being cooped up in it!! He would rather be sitting up or on the floor playing!! So hopefully he will sleep the whole way!!

This week is Show us where you live- Guest Bedroom edition over at Kelly's Korner. So head on over there and look at all of the other Guest Bedrooms.

This guest bedroom is still kinda a work in progress.  Besides a bed and a chair we have moved the treadmill and the computer desk in there.  We did have an office with those in there but when I got pregnant last year we decided that the office was going to become the nursery. So here is a pic with just the bed and nightstand. 

I think I am going to put this above the bed but I haven't made my mind up yet! Got it at Canton!!

This is the second guest bedroom.  This one gets used the most!

I still need to put a mirror above this dresser but just haven't found one that I like yet!!

Activity Center

My sister-in-law Kasey always has such great ideas.  Her latest one was to put a blanket around Brady in his new activity center.  On the box it says 4+ months but she said she would always put her boys in the activity center earlier with a blanket around them.  So that was just what I did today and as you can see in the pics that Brady loved it!! He stayed in it for about 8 minutes before he started getting tired!! We will have to keep working on holding that head up!!

3 months old today!!!

I can't believe Brady is already 3 months old!!! He is such a blessing!! Some of you know but many of you don't know that it took us 1 1/2 years to become pregnant.  I have PCOS and have fertility issues.  Last year about this time we didn't know how or when we would become parents.  I had been on clomid for 5 months and this was the highest dosage that they were going to allow me to take and then we were going to have to be referred to a fertility specialist!! My heart broke a little every time I would go to the Dr. and she would say well, you didn't ovulate this time!! Needless to say we ended up going on a very relaxing vacation to the Dominican Republic and low and behold if we didn't come back and find out that I ovulated!!! We had to wait a couple of weeks to take a pregnancy test and it just so happened we were going to be in MS when I was suppose to take one!! So we took it in MS and it was positive!! We were so excited that we could tell the whole family face to face!!! It was such a hard time in my life not knowing if I was going to be able to conceive, but I put my faith in the Lord!! God is great and I know that there are many women out there are that are having problems conceiving and I would love it if you would say a little prayer for them!! Tiffany is one of these women having trouble conceiving and she will be going to a fertility specialist in July. So please keep her in your prayers!!  I thank the Lord everyday for my sweet little boy!!

Tummy Time!!

He is 26 inches long!!!!

He pulls his hair a lot and I tell him no and pull his hand away when I see him do it. I know he doesn't know what no is but he will eventually. I will look at his hands when I pull them away and there will be hairs in them!! I know it has to hurt but he never cries!

I had to put a couple of pics of the living room at Christmas time!!  

I absolutely love Christmas time!! I usually decorate in early November and take it down mid-January.  I know that is a really long time to have Christmas decorations out but I just love them!!

This is a painting of my miniature schnauzer McKenzie that passed away this past October. I have had it for 3 years and still haven't gotten it framed!! I really need to do it soon!!!

This picture on top of the entertainment center is my favorite!!! Growing up both of my grandparents had this in their living rooms!! So it is very special to me!! My parents gave it to me when we bought the house!!

This scrapbook is on the coffee table.  It is of our wedding and honeymoon.  It was a gift from my brother's family. My sister-in-law Kasey and myself worked a lot on this!!  

This is the first page in the scrapbook!! I love this picture!! We got married on the beach in Seaside, FL.  It is the cutest town ever!!

Last but not least I had to put a picture of where I do all of my blogging.  I usually have a sleeping baby on one arm and typing with my other.  Also the MacBook was a early Mother's Day present!!! I love it!!
