Christmas

We had such a wonderful Christmas!! We are beyond blessed!! Santa came a day early to our house this year, because we drove to Mississippi on Christmas day. I like to be in Mississippi for after Christmas sales. There are some of the cutest stores that have TONS of christmas decor. So my mom, sister in law and my best friend have a little tradition that we go shopping the day after Christmas to these cute boutiques. I got some really cute things this year! Two of my favorite things were the christmas mudpie pajama pants half off! They are super comfy, so needless to say I will be wearing them ALL year long!!

Christmas morning was so much fun this year!! Brady was beyond excited about santa visiting us! We also had a great Christmas with our families!!

I can't believe that Willa Kate will be a year old in a short month!! I am in full party planning mode! We are having Brady and Willa Kate's birthdays the same weekend!! Whew!! I am going to be a crazy lady!!

Willa Kate is such a sweet sweet girl! She sleeps all night, she eats everything we give her and she LOVES her brother!! Her favorite foods are bananas, blueberries and cheese! She loves to jibber jabber and she can say hey, thank you (daint to), bye bye, mama and dada. Her new favorite thing is climbing up the stairs!! I am always right behind her when she does and she will climb all the way to the top! We are just head over heels for her and we are excited to see what the next few months have in store for us!!

Christmas Decor

I love love love decorating for Christmas!! It is my favorite time of year!! I have especially been loving decorating a new house for Christmas!! Our tree this year is in the playroom upstairs. I decided not to put it in the living room this year because our ceilings are like 20 ft. tall and a 7.5 ft tree would look tiny in there!! I plan on trying to find a 12 ft. tree on sale after Christmas to put in the living room for next year.

I made all of our outside decorations! It took a couple of weeks, but I think they turned out great!!

Next year, I am going to make a really cute centerpiece for the dining room table. I just ran out of time this year, so I just used what I have been using the last few years. My grandmother gave me the santa on the bookshelf and I just love it!

Adult Vacation

The first of November, Wilse and I went on a 4 night cruise out of Galveston! The Grandma's flew in to keep the kids while we had a wonderful vacation!! Brady and Willa Kate were sick and we about didn't go on the cruise!! I took Brady to the doctor two days before we left and he had a upper respiratory infection! The day before we left he threw up a few times in the car going to get the grandmas!! He would just cough and cough until he threw up! Then that night he started breathing really fast, so we had to start giving him breathing treatments! Then the day of the cruise Willa Kate woke up with a runny nose, so I took them both to the doctor and sure enough Brady had to get on steroids for his breathing! I felt so much better and more comfortable about going on the cruise since we got Brady a prescription for steroids, because it usually only takes one dose to make his breathing much better! So the grandmas had to give Brady his antibiotics twice a day, steroids once a day, breathing treatments every 4 hours and his coughing and congestion medicine as needed and also Willa Kate the coughing and congestion medicine as needed!! Bless their hearts!! They didn't know what they were getting into when they signed up to keep the kids while we went on vacation!! LOL But like I said we ALMOST didn't go, but I knew the kids were in GREAT hands!! I mean we left the house at 11 that morning and the ship starting boarding at 12:30! We made it to Galveston at 1 and I even had time to stop on the way and get a spray tan:)

We had such a great time on the cruise and it was MUCH needed!! My psoriasis completely went away while we were on vacation!!! Of course it came back like the day after we got back :( I still called everyday and checked on the kids to make sure they were getting better and of course they were!!

On the cruise we had one stop in Cozumel and we just went to the beach and relaxed!! It was so nice to just lay out in the sun all morning!!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween! We went to a fall festival at Brady's school and we also had a block party in our cul de sac and then went trick or treating.

We ♥ Kindermusik!!

We are really enjoying our Kindermusik class once a week!! Brady and Willa Kate just LOVE it!! Here are some pics from our Halloween themed class!
