Parties

The past couple of weekends we have been to two parties for two of the cutest little girls I know!! Last weekend we went to my cousin Alaina's third Birthday. She had a skating party. Here are some pics I stole from her mom!!

Today we went to my friend Chandra's little girl Chesney's first birthday party!! Brady and Chesney are 2 weeks and 1 day apart! They are so cute when they get together!! There house burned down on Christmas day!! So I made Chesney a canvas and a lamp for her room. The fire started in Chesney's room and they lost almost everything!! So she needed some decorative stuff for her room!

Brady is one messy eater!!!

In this picture you can even see where he has gotten food on the window seal!!! I even found some food stuck on the blinds!!!

11 months old

Today Brady is 11 months old!! Time is flying by so quick!! I can't believe he will be 1 in a month!! I am having so much fun planning his party!! I think I might be a little obsessed!! LOL

Brady at 11 months:

• Does not take a paci anymore!! He was sick over Thanksgiving with a cold and couldn't take it, so I just quit giving it to him!! So we are paci free!!!!
• Eating anything and everything we give him!! He has been on table food for about 3 months now!!
• He has 7 teeth
• Speed crawling and pulling up everywhere!! He has just started pushing his push toys. He is really not that interested in walking!! He can't figure out how to get those long legs moving and he is so tall that his balance isn't that great!!
• He will say mama, dada, hey and he has said book a few times. He would rather just babble!!
• I think he weighs about 23-24 lbs.
• loves loves loves bath time!!
• I haven't completely taken the bottle away! We have just cut out the nighttime bottle. So, I just give him his milk in a sippy cup at dinner.
• He likes to play peek-a-boo and patty cake!
• He wears a size 3 diaper and is in 12-18 month clothes
• As I have posted before he has such a great personality!! He is very social and loves attention!!
• he loves to wave hey and bye bye
• He still has 2 naps a day most of the time.
• He sleeps for about 10 hours a night

He is such a blessing and I can't wait to see what this new year has in store for us!!

Mister Personality

Today we went out to eat lunch and he wouldn't hardly eat because he was too busy looking at everybody and then when he saw someone looking at him he would laugh so LOUD!!! Needless to say he was putting on a show and everybody was staring at him!! He is just full of personality!! I am not sure where he got his personality but I do know he got his loudness from me!! LOL I love this little boy soooooooooo much!!!! Oh and speaking of this little boy his first birthday is coming up!! I am having so much fun planning it!! It is going to be sooooo cute!! I can't wait to show ya'll pics!!

Come and Gone

Wow!! Is Christmas really over?!?!?! I can't believe my baby's first Christmas has already come and gone!! And 2009 where did it go???? We had a wonderful Christmas!! We spent Christmas eve and Christmas morning at our house and then we headed to Mississippi to spend a long weekend with both of our families! Christmas night we had Christmas with Wilse's family and Saturday night we had Christmas with my family! I also went shopping the day after Christmas to some great shops that had all of their Christmas decorations half off!! Sunday we went to church and hung out at Wilse's parents house and then I had Christmas with my best friend and her mom!! Monday we went and played with my nephews and then Tuesday we headed back to Texas!! It was a great trip and I am so glad we got to spend Christmas with family!!

Brady got way to many toys!! Santa didn't bring him a lot because we knew he was going to get so many things from everybody else!!

I just loved this cow when I saw it in the R & H baby and child catalog!!

And of course Brady had to get a MSU hat and jersey!!

This is the big thing that Wilse got me!! I love it!! I have been wanting one for a long time!!

This pottery platter is what my brother's family got me!! I love it!! Brady was 7 months old when we went and got this done!! I haven't found the perfect place to hang it yet!!

Blueberries and Avocados

Brady is such a good eater, he will eat anything I give him!! I am so thankful for that!! I just hope he stays this way!! We are soooooooooo ready for CHRISTmas around here!! It is Brady's first CHRISTmas and we can't wait until CHRISTmas morning!! We are heading to Mississippi CHRISTmas day to celebrate with our families!! We want to wish you a very merry CHRISTmas from our family to yours!!

Spaghetti with a twist

This is really good and we will definitely be having this a lot!!

Spaghetti Squash with Turkey Meatballs

You will need:

1 large spaghetti squash

1lb ground Turkey

1 jar of your choice of Marinara

Pierce squash with a fork as you would a potato.

Microwave for 12 minutes on high, or bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes. Set to cool.

Cut in half and scoop out the seeds.

Use fork to loosen the squash to create noodles.

Roll Up Turkey into balls (I put a little salt and pepper on top) Bake at 400F for 40 minutes I also put some Marinara on top of the meatballs with about 10 minutes left.

Warm up the Marinara on the stove.

Place Marinara on top of squash and add some meatballs.
