Vegas Baby

Our last stop before we got to our California was Las Vegas!! We were really excited about staying here because neither of us has ever been!! We stayed at Mandalay Bay mainly because they have the Shark Reef Aquarium and that was something we knew Brady would love!! I loved Mandalay Bay!! It was nice and we had a very large room!! Wilse and I can't wait to go back! We will definitely have an adult trip to Vegas in the near future!!

Brady decided he did not want to wear his shoes at the aquarium!! So he went shoeless the whole time!!

On the way to Vegas from Flagstaff we passed over the Hoover Dam! It was a nice surprise because we had no clue that we would have to cross over it to get to Nevada!!

Have you slept in a Wigwam lately??

Yes, we have!!

When we were planning our road trip we knew we wanted to stop in Amarillo,TX and then Flagstaff, AZ but it was way to long to drive from one to the other in one day. So, we looked on the map and saw this town called Holbrook, AZ and it was close enough to Flagstaff that we could wake up and drive to the Grand Canyon the next morning and spend all day there sightseeing. We started looking for hotels in Holbrook and found that they had the Wigwam motel that was on the original Route 66!! I knew right then that we had to stay in one of the wigwams!! Wilse was a little skeptical at first but I talked him into it!!

Road Trip 2010- Amarillo

Our first stop on our roadtrip was Amarillo, Texas. Wilse has been dying to go to the Big Texan and eat a steak!! They are known for their steak challenge (eat a 72 oz. steak and sides and it's free)! My filet was pretty good, but I have had better!! The atmosphere was great and while we where there 5 guys tried the steak challenge. They all walked away with to go boxes though!! LOL

Easter

Last week we went to storytime at a local Library and Brady got his picture made with the Easter bunny!!

This past Saturday we went to our playgroups Easter egg hunt. We had a great time and Brady did so good!! We didn't even practice!! He held my hand and held his basket in his other and walked and when he saw an egg he would put his basket down and then bend down pick up the egg and put it in his basket and then pick up his basket and start heading for another egg!! Also he started walking!! Not much but he is walking about 5-7 steps at a time!!

Sunday the Easter bunny visited our house! He forgot to put Brady's trunki out with all of his other goodies!! The Easter bunny knew we were going on a roadtrip soon so he thought Brady needed some luggage and a few more dvd's and books for the road!!!

My family is finally going to be able to buy all those cute dresses and girly things that we all go gaga over!! That's right I am going to have a NIECE!!!!! Congratulations to my brother's family on their exciting news!! Not only is she going to be spoiled rotten but also one tough cookie with 3 older brothers!!
