Tx State Fair

Last week my parents were in town and we went to the state fair. This years fried food winner was fried beer!! None of us tried it, it sounded pretty gross to us. Some of the others that were in the top were fried club salad, fried frito chili pie, fried smores pop tarts, fried lemonade, fried texas caviar, fried chocolate and fried margarita. Needless to say we didn't try any of these. My parents did get some fried caramel and I had a bite and it was pretty good! Not as good as a fried twinkie though!! This year was a lot more fun than last year because Brady actually rode a few rides and he really liked them. My mom and Wilse rode a couple of rides too, but of course I couldn't ride anything :( I take that back I did ride the skyway. LOL Here are a few pics from our trip.

Well, I never thought I would say this but....

We are sooooo excited that Brady is going to have a baby sister!! After many generations of no Dimino baby girls!! We are going to break that!! I can't wait to meet her in March!!

Destin Vacation

Last week we went to Destin, FL for vacation!! If you have never been there this time of year than you should definitely go!! The weather was perfect and it was not crowded at all!! The only downside was that the pool was a little chilly!! This year we got a house that was directly on the beach! It was so much easier than last year when we stayed at a house in a little neighborhood that was across the street from the beach!!

Brady absolutely loved the beach! He even cried the last day when we were packing up the car!! Brady loved seeing all of the airplanes fly over, throwing seashells in the ocean, playing in our little splash pool on the balcony, seeing all of the seagulls but he mostly just loved playing in the sand!

We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back next year as a family of four!!

Prairie Arts Purchases

Here are the things that I bought at my hometown's arts festival over Labor day weekend!! All of my purchases came from the same booth!! They had the cutest stuff!!

I can't wait to hang this up in Brady's room and put his drawings on display!!

Labor day weekend and some big news!!

This past week we went to Mississippi to visit with all of our friends and family. The small town I grew up in had a festival and I always go to it!! I will do another post on my Prairie Arts purchases!! I also did a mini photo shoot with my new niece!! I will do another post with some of those pictures!! The biggest news that came out of this past weekend was that this little guy is...................

going to be a big brother!!! After trying for a year and half for Brady and then we tried for a year to get pregnant with this one, needless to say we are very excited!! Our second miracle is due March 4, 2011!! I am 15 weeks today!! Only 5 more weeks until we find out the sex of our precious little one!!

18 month stats

We went to Brady's 18 month check-up last week!! He did pretty well! He kept saying door and out, it was so funny!! He just wanted to get out of that room! He weighs 31 lbs. (95%) and he is 35 inches tall (97%)!!!! We have a very healthy boy!!

My niece was born today at 12:39pm!! She weighs 7 lbs. 10oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long!! She has a little hair but not much and they said she has dimples!! We are so excited that mom and baby are doing great!! Congratulations Caley, Kasey, Connor, Cael, and Collins!! We can't wait to meet her next week!!

18 months

Wow!! My baby is 18 months old today!! He is growing up so fast!! He is so busy these days getting into everything and doing new things!

• He has 16 teeth
• He is a good eater! He is not a huge fan of meat though!! He would rather have veggies and fruits!
• Still sleeps 12 hours straight a night, in his own crib
• He doesn't walk much, he runs!!
• He climbs on everything and that includes the dining table!
• He would rather sit in his booster seat that his high chair!
• He counts to three, but you can only make out the number two!!
• He says many words: Mamma, Da for daddy, hey, bye, bubbles, boo, gone, shake, cup, color, tree, nananana for banana (it is so cute when he says it), ball, yeah, there, turtle, cow, shoes, car, shirt, star, moon, sun, clouds, bu for buzz, no, stop, rock, dog and I know there are many more but I can't think of them all
• He makes many animal sounds! They are so cute!! And if he doesn't know what sound an animal makes he will make one up!
• He has my temper!! (Oh no!! We are in BIG trouble!!)
• He wears mostly 2t but he can fit into a few 24 months and he wears a size 4 diaper.
• He is right handed
• He loves to point to all of his body parts when you ask him where they are! (nose, ears, hair, mouth, tongue, eyes, hands, fingers, feet, toes, belly, bellybutton legs, arms)
• He loves to gives hugs and kisses!
• He is learning his colors and shapes.
• Loves to play with his puzzles and is pretty good at them!
• He ignores me a lot!! LOL
• He is definitely in the terrible twos!!
• I think he weighs about 30 lbs. and he is probably 33-34 inches tall!! His 18 months check-up is in about 2 weeks!

He is such a joy and I can't wait to see what the next 18 months have in store for us!!
