4 months

Willa Kate is 4 months old!!! She is getting so big!! She loves to squeal and loves to watch her big brother. This month we weaned her from her swaddle and the transition went great!! Next month she will start sleeping in her bed!! Right now she is sleeping in the pack n play in our room. She sleeps about 12 hours a night without waking and takes about 3 naps a day. She is such a little blessing.

I never posted 3 month pictures so here is Willa Kate at 3 months old.

These are some random pics of Willa Kate over the past month.

All Moved in and Mohawks

We are all moved in and have been for a while!! I just haven't really felt like blogging! The move went great and the moving company was excellent!! Nothing got broken or damaged!!!! We are still hanging pictures in the house and there are a few things we need to get for the new house but other than that we are ready for visitors!! I love for friends and family to visit!!

On to the next subject which is mohawks!! Yes, you read that right!! When Brady was a baby he had a curly mohawk and now Willa Kate is following in his footsteps and she has a straight mohawk, but hers is much taller!! I think it between 3-4 inches tall!! It is so funny!! I just smile every time I look at her! Here are some pics of my sweet babies and their mohawks!!

This is Brady when he was 6 months old.

Here is Willa Kate at almost 4 months old.

Easter, Mississippi and year of the locust

We had a wonderful Easter with just the 4 of us. It was very relaxing and just what we needed!!

I could just eat these two little cutie patooties up!!

Monday after Easter me and the kids headed to Mississippi for a week and a half!! It was the last time I will be making a trip to Mississippi with just myself and the kids!! Right now it is only a 6 hour drive but as of next week it will be a 10 hour drive!! We had such a great visit with family and friends and of course I had to hit up all of the cute children's boutiques to get the kids some clothes (like they needed any). When we were in Mississippi all of those terrible storms came through that produced tons of tornados! I have a good friend that lost her house, a friend that had a tree fall on her house and their two cars and a girl that I went to high school with lost her dad. It is devastating where those tornados came through. Tuscaloosa, AL and Smithville, MS got hit really bad. Smithville which is a very small town is basically gone. Please pray for all those who were affected by these devastating storms!

So it is the year of the locusts! These type of locust come out every 13 years! While we were in Mississippi they started coming out of the ground. There were tons and Brady loved them! We went around my parents house picking up the shells and the live locusts. They were everywhere! If you were outside you could just hear the roaring noise they make, it got louder everyday and now my mom says that you can hear it in the house!!

All over plants.

Brady having fun playing with them.

These are the ones we picked up and put in a bucket.

All over the tree!

This pic is for you mom!! LOL

Oh and we are moving a week from today!!!!!!!!! I wish I could snap my fingers and already be moved in and unpacked and everything hung on the walls!! If only it was that easy!!

New House!

Here are some pics of our new house! I am very excited to get moved in! We have been so blessed to have had 2 brand new houses!! When we do have to buy an older home we aren't going to know what to do! The master planned community that we are going to live in has lots of great things! We have a welcome center with an awesome cafe and a fitness center that has zumba, yoga, bootcamp, sculpting, and spin classes! Also the main pool has a 70ft slide that was built inside this huge hill and there is a splash park and a regular park. Throughout the community there are other parks including one that is a short walk from our house! Also our house is one house from the end of the culdesac and there they are going to have a dog park and by next summer there will be a pool there!! Oh and there are miles of walking and biking trails and a large creek that winds in the neighborhood and connects to a lake at the welcome center and you can kayak and canoe in there! Also there are tennis courts, basketball courts and soccer fields!
