First Haircut!!!

Well, I finally broke down and got Brady's hair cut!! Really it was just a tiny trim!! He was really good and sat in the chair the whole time and let Chandra just cut away!! Here are before and after pics!! You really can't tell!!

I had to show ya'll this pic!! The little ringlet in the front is so darn cute!!

Road Trip!!!!!

In about 4 weeks, we will be leaving for out first ever family road trip!!! I am super excited!! We will be gone a total of 12 days!! Our final destination is Los Angeles!! Wilse's brother lives there so we will be visiting him!! We are also going to Disneyland!! I have been to Disney World about 9 times but never to Disneyland!! We are also going to do a lot of the touristy things while we are there too!! On the road we are going to spend 4 nights each way! A couple of those nights will be in Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon!!!! I am going to try and blog everyday!! We will see how that goes!!! Some people think we are crazy for driving to L.A. but I think the adventure of getting there will be most of the fun plus we will get to see God's beautiful creations along the way!

Slick Willie

The other night after Brady's bath I combed his hair and slicked it down. I couldn't keep the back slicked down!! It wanted to curl up!! But here are a few pics of my little slick willie!!

1 year stats

Last week we went to the Dr. for Brady's 1 year check up. He weighed 24.5 lbs. (75th percentil) and his length was 31.75 inches (95th percentile).

• Loves to wave hey and bye.
• Loves to act like he is talking on the phone. He picks up everything and puts it to his ear and says hey!!
• He still isn't walking but I think he will soon!! He stands up by himself, but just won't take a step!
• Says hey, mamma, da da, yay, book, night night and ball
• Wears size 18m
• Eats anything I give him! He is a big eater!!
• Favorite foods: avocados, blueberries, strawberries and bread
• Sleeps in his crib for 12 straight hours a night!!
• We finally got him to sleep in his crib!! He was sleeping with us!! We switched about a month ago and it was a pretty easy transition!! Now he just loves to get in his crib at night!! He just smiles and hugs his Ugly doll and his blanket! I will turn on the monitor and he will be playing!! He usually plays for about 10 minutes before he goes to sleep!
• Takes 2 naps a day usually 1-2 hours each.
• He does not take a bottle anymore and we switched to whole milk!! He loves it!!
• Loves loves loves to dance!!!!! I have some cute video of him dancing!! I will try to upload it soon!!

Next Best Thing....

What's the next best thing other than becoming a mom again?!?!?! Well, it's becoming an Aunt again!!!! I am proud to announce that my brother and sister-in-law are expecting their fourth child to arrive in early September!!! We are so excited that the Lord is blessing them with another beautiful child!! We are keeping our fingers crossed for a girl but will be just as excited for another boy!! Brady's Birthday Party

Whew! What a weekend!! We had a wonderful time this past weekend celebrating Brady's first birthday!! We left the beautiful snow in Texas on Thursday and headed to Mississippi!! I think we ended up getting 6 inches, but of course we weren't here to enjoy it!! Friday we went to Tupelo and custom ordered Brady a bean bag for his birthday!! It is going to be made out of brown minky dot fabric!! We also stopped by to see my nephews and let Brady play with them!! Saturday was the big day, so we decorated and did last minute things to get all ready for his party!! Sunday we went to church and then Wilse's parents kept Brady so Wilse and I could go out to eat and to the movies!! We went and saw When in Rome!! It was very good!! Monday we headed home and are glad to be back in the swing of things around here!!

Don't look to close at the cake!! We went and picked it up and on the way to the house hit a big bump and it starting sliding backwards!! The icing started cracking a little too!! I think it turned out so cute even though it was a little whopsided!!

Brady's Birthday Invitation
