Getting BIG so fast

Brady's 2nd birthday is this Saturday!! I can't believe my baby will be 2!! He is such a big boy!! Last summer he started out wearing 18m, by the end of the summer he was wearing 3t!!! Yes, you read that right!! He went through 18m, 24m, 2t and began wearing 3t before summers end!! He is still in 3t but some stuff he has is 4t! This summer he will definitely be wearing 4t!! Oh and he wears sizes 10 and 11 in shoes!!!!!! Everywhere we go people still think he is a girl and that he is 3 or 4 years old!!

I can't believe that Brady will be a big brother in less than 2 weeks!! He absolutely loves going in the baby's room and saying baby and rubbing and kissing my belly. He is so sweet!!

Lazy days and Willa Kate update

The past few days have been lazy days at our house!! Brady has come down with a little cold and with that his asthma acts up!! So we have been doing lots of breathing treatments! Thankfully today he is better, but now I am getting sick! My throat is killing me!!

I went to the Dr. yesterday and had a non-stress test and Willa Kate passed! She is doing great!! My Dr. said that since my blood pressure is borderline that she wants to induce me 2 weeks early!! So It looks like we will be having a baby on February 18!! That's only 3 weeks away!! I plan on putting the finishing touches on the nursery within the next week, so I will be posting pics next weekend!!

Snow pics finally!!

Brady had a great time playing in the snow!! We stayed in the snow for about 2 hours and then had to come in to thaw out!! He had the best time and it was so much fun watching him play in the snow!!

Some Random things

Here is a picture of Wilse when he was between 18 months- 2 years old!! Brady looks a lot like him except with blonde hair!!

Also my Dr. told me that we are going to have another February baby!! My blood pressure has been a little high at my Dr. appointments but it is always fine when I check it at the house which I have been doing about 4-6 times a day!! I think I just get a little anxious going to the Dr!! So she just wants to be on the safe side!! She hasn't told me when in February yet, but I am thinking around the 25th!! That would only be 1 week before my due date!! Also starting next week I will have 2 Dr. appointments a week!! I will have my regular check-ups with my OBGYN and then I am having a BPP sonogram every week until I deliver too!! Like I said she just wants to make sure my blood pressure isn't affecting the baby! I will be having to take Brady with me to most of the appointments, but he is usually really good!! Please say a prayer for me!!

The nursery is coming together slowly!! My goal is to have it totally complete by February 1st!! I am running around like a crazy woman trying to get everything perfect for her room!! I have been painting and crafting!! I can't wait to show ya'll pics of her finished room!! Here is a sneak peak at the canvas I made her that just needs me to paint her name on it. It matches her bedding!!

Between trying to get the nursery finished I am also planning Brady's birthday party which I am having at our house!!! Yeah, I know I am pretty much CRAZY!!! I will be 9 months pregnant and his party will be less than 2 weeks before I give birth!! What am I thinking?!?!?!? Brady's party is going to be the Cat in the Hat themed!! I am pretty excited about it!! I have been looking at etsy everyday finding all sorts of cute stuff for his big day!!

One day Brady wanted to put on his puppy costume that he wore for Halloween and act like he was a dog!! He also had the idea of putting his slippers on his hands!! Silly boy!! He was crawling around the house barking and panting like a dog!! Too cute!! I should have been filming it but the camera was dead!

33 weeks sonogram

Here is our precious baby girl, Willa Kate, at our 33 weeks sonogram.

It's about time!!

Okay, so I know it is 2 weeks past Christmas, but I just now uploaded all of pics from Christmas to the laptop!! We had a great Christmas!! It was so much fun this year with Brady!! Seeing his face light up as he saw all of his toys and then opening them one by one and playing with them was the best!! I can't believe that next Christmas we will have 2 little blessings to share Christmas with!!

Willa Kate's Nursery

Willa Kate's nursery is slowly coming together!! I don't have pics yet but I figured I would put somethings that we have bought and give you an idea of what her nursery is going to look like!!

We are not painting her room. So it will just be the tan that is already on the walls. We didn't want to paint since we think we might be moving soon after she arrives.

Here is the crib:

I bought this beautiful french provincial 9 drawer dresser off of craigslist and painted it white. Looks similar to this one.

I bought this mirror from Ikea to hang above the dresser and I am in search of some ribbon for it!

I couldn't get the picture to rotate but it will be hung horizontally.

I also bought this cute little bookcase that has lots of curves and some glass knobs on it!!

So, I have been looking on craigslist for furniture for Willa Kate's room. I search the antiques and furniture sections daily to see if they have anything that I am looking for. This morning as I was looking through the antiques section I came across a posting that said "Magic Rock $10,000". Of course I had to click on it to see what it said. And here is what the posting said "I have a rock for sale. It's magical. I made 34 wishes on it, and all 33 have come true. My 34th wish was for 10 grand to pay for college, and the rock instructed me to sell him on craigslist for that said amount. here goes nothing."

Needless to say I have had a really good laugh this morning and thought it was too good not to share!! LOL
